Straw wreath base, straw wreaths
Product description
The grown natural product is barley straw. The most common wreath bases are 60/14, 65/14, 70/16, and 80/16. Fleece bands and threads are used for wrapping to ensure appropriate composting.
Working techniques
Underlays made from barley straw are easier to work with when cutting out the wreath body. Wheat and rye straw, on the other hand, is harder and must be worked with correspondingly stronger wires.
